My friend Lori Kissinger at VSA Tennessee is currently working with the Tennessee Arts Commission to offer a free series of career development webinars for young visual and performing artists with disabilities.
Each webinar include practical suggestions on career development, inspiring stories from artists with disabilities, and information on a wide variety of resources. You can find all the information on the Tennessee Arts Commission website here or use the links below to open the Powerpoints directly.
These learning opportunities will be particularly helpful for high school or college students with disabilities, artists with disabilities, and educators.
Anyone who completes 4 of the surveys at the end of the webinars will receive a certificate of completion, and the webinars can be taken at any time. VSA Tennessee is trying to get 40 responses before December 31st, 2014, however, so if you or someone you know is interested, please share them soon!
